Federal Home Buyers Plan

The Pension Benefits Standards Act, 1985 and the Pension Benefits Standards Regulations, 1985 limit the usage of funds held in a locked-in registered retirement savings plan holding pension benefit credits transferred from a pension plan subject to federal jurisdiction. Such funds are not eligible for withdrawal under the Home Buyer’s Plan.
