Tolga Yalkin
Assistant Superintendent – Regulatory Response Sector
Tolga Yalkin serves as the Assistant Superintendent of the Regulatory Response Sector at the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions (OSFI), where he oversees the regulation of financial institutions to ensure the stability of Canada’s financial system. In the Canadian government, he has served in numerous senior positions, including as Assistant Deputy Minister at Health Canada's COVID-19 Task Force and at the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat, focusing on public health risk mitigation and modernizing people management policies.
He holds honours degrees in business and law from the University of Oxford, the University of Sydney, and the University of British Columbia, and is accredited by the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD).
