The Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions (OSFI) is issuing the final version of the Instruction Guide for Asset Transfers related to Defined Contribution Provisions of Pension Plans (the Instruction Guide) and its accompanying form, the Approval Request Form for Asset Transfers related to Defined Contribution Provisions of Pension Plans (the Approval Request Form).

OSFI issued a revised draft Instruction Guide and the Approval Request Form for consultation on September 29, 2022. No comments were received with respect to either the Instruction Guide or the Approval Request Form.
